Backflow Rules has no accounts, sign-ups or forms. This page explains what is collected when you visit and what we do with it.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are useful. It is set up to collect as little as possible: Google signals and ad personalization are switched off, and we keep event data for two months. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland start with all analytics and ad storage denied, so Google Analytics sets no cookies for them and only receives anonymous, cookieless measurements. Elsewhere, Google Analytics uses first-party cookies to tell new visits from returning ones. You can block it with your browser settings or Google's opt-out add-on.
Advertising
This site may show ads from Google AdSense. When it does, Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads, including ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can turn off personalized ads in Google's Ads Settings or opt out of third-party vendors' cookies at aboutads.info. Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services. Visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland will be asked for consent through Google's certified consent message before any ad cookies are used, and can change their choice at any time.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes your IP address and browser details to deliver pages and protect against abuse, as described in Cloudflare's privacy policy. We don't receive or keep those logs.
If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply and to fix the page you wrote about. We don't add you to any list.
Children
The site is written for property owners and tradespeople and is not directed at children under 13.
